Tax file numbers

Since 1 July 1991, all companies have been obliged to deduct tax at the top marginal rate from unfranked dividends paid to investors, resident in Australia, who have not supplied them with a tax file number or exemption particulars. Tax will not be deducted from the franked portion of a dividend.

If you have not already done so, a Tax File Number Notification form or Tax File Number Exemption form should be completed for each holding and returned to our Share Registrar, Computershare Investor Services. Please note you are not required by law to provide your tax file number if you do not wish to do so.
